We are an independent, multi-speciality cardiology group that works with primary care physicians and specialists throughout the Bay Area such as Sutter Health, Brown and Toland, Hill Physicians, UCSF and Stanford.
We have been performing complex coronary interventions as an alternative to open-heart surgery for blocked coronary arteries since 1980, and now offer TAVR a less invasive approach to treatment of aortic stenosis which is only offered in a few hospitals around the country.
We consistently receive high marks from Healthgrades and Vitals, and many of us are recognized as Super Doctors by the San Francisco Chronicle.
We have Congestive Heart Failure/ICD and Coumadin clinics as well as the East Bay’s only adult outpatient Congenital Heart Program. We offer new treatment options for atrial fibrillation, including ablation procedures, to restore regular rhythm and reduce stroke risk.
We have enrolled heart attack patients with the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in the international TIMI trials for the past 20 years which have lead to many advances in cardiac care.
We are a part of Alta Bates Summit Medical Center which is rated by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top five Best Hospitals in San Francisco Bay Area, and is the first and largest STEMI Receiving Center in Alameda County.
